Black and Whites in Life - Week 1

Week 1 - Jazz & Prowl’s cubby

My Week 1 entry for the Project 52 Photography Challenge http://news.deviantart.com/article/105083/  over in communityrelations on Deviant Art communityrelations.deviantart.com/. The two basic ideas of the project are 1) Take a photo a week and post it every Tuesday for a year. I’m not sure Tuesdays are the best day to post for me really, but one a week I hope to be able to pull off. And 2) Pick a theme for the entire contest. I honestly don’t expect any of my pictures to be much of a wow, but I hope to have fun with them and the project.

So how'd I pick a subject? I just leaned back in my chair and stared at my desk. And there were Transformers Robot Heroes Jazz and Prowl. They live in a cubby on my desk directly above my computer and were just screaming (well Jazz was anyway) to be allowed out to explore the world beyond my home office. And I thought sure why not?

Well I can tell you why I should have said no. These guys are tiny, and I have already figured out I am going to regret choosing subjects who are so tiny. But I am also to stubborn to change my choice before posting the first picture. So I am just going to have to cowgirl up and deal.

A friend of mine with connections to Hasbro acquired him loose. I had my choice of Robot Hero or Mighty Muggs Prowl. I will admit it was a tough decision as I have Jazz in both forms. And Muggs Prowl is pretty darn cute also. Who knows (okay my friend probably does, but he's not saying), they both may get released at some point. The Prowl & Laserbeak package for Robot Heroes can be found on the Hasbro website. Granted it is the 25th anniversary packaging, but perhaps that means they are close to reversing the production cancellation order on them? Yes, I realize how lucky I am to have Prowl at this point in time, but I eventually may be wishing I had chosen the Muggs guy instead. Or it won't matter for either.

Sorry, I'm not much help in pointing you towards a Prowl of your own at the moment.

Thank you for taking a look. :)

Best I can offer is that I'll try to keep you in mind should it happen again. :)

Lucky...I so wanted a Robot Hero's Prowl to go with the small collection of Prowls I already have. -_- I have tones of Optimus I just need more of my second fave character.

I was extremly lucky. And using him in this project is stressful at times, always afraid I'm going to loose him.

Thank you for taking the time to look.
